Irina Panasyuk is CEO and a Principal Art Consultant at IVP Public Art.
IVP Public Art has been created with an intention of supporting community development conducting projects in the field of public art, and cultural planning. Irina Panasyuk entered the public art scene with a degree in Arts and Curatorial Practices in the Public Sphere from the USC Roski School of Art and Design and a vast experience in the public relations and communications.
For the past several years Irina has been working on numerous art projects, selecting and commissioning sculptures, paintings, ceramic works and murals for public and private display in various cities in the Greater Los Angeles area. Her experience includes working with the cities’ planning departments, developers, collectors and many talented artists. Irina’s work carries the undercurrent belief that art strengthens communities and connects cultures.
Gail Phinney is a long-time collaborator who is in charge of educational aspects of IVP Public Art's projects. Gail serves as the Palos Verdes Art Center Education Director, she is a member of the Arts Education Innovation Lab, a partnership of Arts for LA and LA County Department of Arts and Culture dedicated to bringing an equitable and scalable model for arts education to every student in Los Angeles County. A seasoned educator, Phinney believes in the power of art to build community and has engaged youth through artist residencies that have resulted in bringing permanent public artwork to schools throughout PVPUSD. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Marymount California University and a contributing writer for the Golden State Company.
Beatrix Barker serves as an Advisor for IVP Public Art. Mrs.Barker is a principal consultant of Barker + Associates, Beatrix Barker has been a professional art advisor for over three decades and is experienced in a broad range of project types with excellent skills in analysis, strategic planning, and project management. Because of her extensive knowledge of public art and related issues, she is often invited to advise public sector clients on workable policy, strategy and implementation. In addition to public art, community development, and cultural planning, Beatrix has also distinguished herself in corporate consulting, corporate philanthropic policy and communications programming, as well as exhibition development. She possesses a current knowledge of artistic trends and is a frequent lecturer on art and public art.† She has been appointed to numerous boards and committees.
