in the City of San Gabriel
Cha-Rie Tang created tile murals for a busy San Gabriel plaza, bringing Asian and Latin cultural references into the public environment.
About the Project
The murals face the entrance to a new apartment complex and help define the plaza for visitors and residents. Artist-designed tile elements also support wayfinding through the site and lead viewers toward the main artwork.
